Mario Sarrechia (*1988) obtained his Bachelor degree on the harpsichord with great distinction in 2010 at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Ewald Demeyere. Currently he completes his studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Bob van Asperen and Menno van Delft. He performed extensively as soloist and continuo-player with different ensembles: La Petite Bande (Sigiswald Kuijken), the Brabant Orchestra (Dirk Vermeulen, Jan-Willem de Vriendt), The Dutch National Opera Academy (Julian Perkins), International Opera Productions Holland (Dirk Vermeulen), La Chambre du Roi, The Little Consort, the Antwerp Baroque Ensemble and is frequently asked as a freelancer. He participated in masterclasses with Bob van Asperen, Gustav Leonhardt, Thérèse de Goede, Sigiswald Kuijken, Bart van Oort, Nicolas Achten, Wim Becu and Dirk Snellings, Fabio Bonizzoni and Roberta Invernizzi, Emma Kirkby and Fred Jacobs and lastly Lucy van Dael. As all-round musician and composer he was part of art-collectives BOX and MARS.
